Winemaker Brigitte Chevalier moved to Faugères to make “vin du nord (wine from the north) in the south”, and her efforts succeeded within a short span of time. Today, Cébène is a highly-rated name among the wine circle at the South of France.
The organically farmed estate of 11 hectares is made up of judiciously chosen terroirs and deep-rooted vines. Farmed organically at very low-yields, the grapes are hand-picked at optimum ripeness and undergo careful vinification, giving Cébène wines their unique profile.
